Are you interested in contributing a bylined technical article to The Engineers Edge?  Would you like to know how to get product information added to this site? Eager to tell us about the latest industry news? Are you a technical trainer or consultant looking for exposure? Here's how you get published within The Engineers Edge.  

Feature Articles  

  • Feature articles should run at least 750 words and be accompanied by suitable artwork (charts, graphs, photos, line drawings, schematics, etc.) They should be written for a technically sophisticated audience and should discuss technique, trend or technology developments in industry. Articles should be educational or functionally informational in tone, rather than promotional, and captions should accompany artwork when applicable.  
  • If you are a consultant or training professional and wish to contribute a technical byline as the many that are published within The Engineers Edge.  Please review the format of the technical pages contained within The Engineers edge for guidance. 
  • We suggest you send an abstract or outline of your idea for consideration before proceeding with the article.   

 

Product Showcase  

  • Please submit product press releases that are appropriate for the design engineering audience and are commercially available.  
  • Product releases should include: name and type of product, applications, technical specifications, features and benefits. Also, be sure to include company contact information (full address, phone, fax).  
  • Include a good quality color photo, either in electronic format (JPEG or GIF).  

Material Format   

  • All submittals  should be submitted in electronic format (e-mail).   
  • When submitting , please send text and graphics in separate files. Text can be saved either as MS Word 95 (.doc) or ASCII (.txt)  
  • Graphics can either be JPEG or GIF format, no larger than 72 dpi and no wider than 300 pixels.
