After one imports the file into a 3D cad file you should be able to measure lengths. Is this what you are looking for? |

Here is one example. File contains a simple object. I'm looking for a easy way to calculate length of all lines, arcs, circles... Is there any software for that? Thanx.

I'm using AutoCAD but I can do it only by measuring every line by itself. I was wondering about some automatic method, like select everything and get complete length? |

JOIN ALL SEGMENTS AS POLYLINE THEN USE PROPERTIES WILL GIVE YOU THE SEGMENT LENGTH |

That's right, I'm using a laser cutting system. AutoCAD is the only CAD tool I have but I can buy other one if it can do what I need. @ALDOL78: REGION command gave me nothing useful or I'm using it wrong? |
