I am trying to 3-d model (Solidworks 2007) a spiral bevel gear with a involute tooth profile. I have done many straight bevel gears with involutes in the past, but can't figure out what I need to do to perform a "lofted-cut" along a curve to produce the spiral bevel. Any help is appreciated, thanks!!! |
