I have a call out on a drawing and I am not sure what it means. I have attached a picture. Some times the numbers are negative and some times positive. Does any one know what this is called and what it means?

Hi,
I'm new here to the Edge but old to the trade. If you ever have a doubt about a drawing ASK THE CUSTOMER (or your boss) to be sure not to make a mistake Quoting, and/or making the wrong part.
Sometimes some company's will have a quiz like this one to see if you will ask "Is this an edge tolerance call out?" or risk working on scrap all day. It's VERY important to communicate in any shop environment!

Good Luck!
