Ok folks, I need a bit of information here. In their infinite wisdom, the bean counters and upper management purchased our Solid Edge package without really asking the people in the design department what options they would like to have. For this reason, Xpress Route was left out of the package as well as PMI. Now, upper management would like me to put together all the necessary artwork (including views of the 3D models) for a catalog for our customers. After viewing the PMI demonstration on the UGS website, it appears the PMI option would allow me to place dimesions and annotations on the models without having to creat a draft. Is there any way to do place this info on the model for the purpose of marketing our product without using the PMI option? If not, I guess I need to get my ducks in a row and make a presentation to the bean counters and upper management.
