    Aluminum specific weight

    Anyone can help me on the specific weight for Aluminum, for example to get the weight is 0.1285 x wide in inches x length in inches x thickness. in this example I would like to know a formula and where I can see that.

    Pure aluminum is 167.1 lbs. per cubic foot... .098 lbs. per cubic inch.

    can you give a formula for this example or where can find this one.

    .098 x width x thickness x length = weight of aluminum. (Not alloyed aluminum... just vanilla aluminum.)

    Could you please give me a web site to search specifications for Aluminum, for example I need to know what is the weight for a Round Bar, Square Tube, Tubing, etc.

    Kelly's information was very accurate. I heeded her advice and typed "aluminum weight formulas" in the Google bar and VOILA...!!! A bunch of results popped up.

    then is correct if I use 0.044 kg/ft3 as a factor since we work on Kilograms.

    Heck, there's even a conversion factor table in the Ryerson materials catalog for different aluminum alloys.
