    Non-ferrous Linear Damper

    Hi,
I'm looking for a small (less than 1 inch in diameter) linear damper to resist pulling forces. The trick is that it has to be made entirely of non-ferrous materials, and I can't find anyone who manufactures such a thing. Does anyone know of a supplier I might try? I've already scoured McMaster and Grainger but with no luck. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

McMaster and Grainger are just distributors. You want manufacturers. You might also search for a little less technical term - industrial shock absorbers. I have good experience with all these: Ace Controls, Enidine, Parker, Efdyn. There are many others.
