Description: The scope of this Standard is to provide information regarding practical dryseal thread inspection methods and commonly used gages for production evaluation purposes. All dimensions are in inches unless otherwise specified. 1.1.1 Federal Government Use. When this standard is approved by the Department of Defense and the Federal agencies and is incorporated into FED-STD-H28/8, Screw-Thread Standards for Federal Services Section 8, the use of this Standard by the Federal Government is subject to all requirements and limitations of FED-STD-H28/8.
