Electropolishing Stainless Steel
Electropolishing is a process for creating a bright
surface finish on stainless steel and aluminum by chemically
removing a thin layer of the metals surface. Often,
electropolishing is referred to as "Bright
Finishing". Typically, Electropolishing is employed to
remove burrs minor surface pitting. The process is also used
to highlight surface defects as such as scratches and
pitting.
