Plastic Dip Industrial Coating - Engineers Edge

Industrial Coating Types, Processes and Design Menu

Plastic industrial coating is applied to parts which are first preheated then, dipped into the plastic material. Dipped parts are post heated to help the plastic material form a uniform and smooth surface.

During the part dipping process, the heat within material helps to form and attach the plastic dipping material to the surrounding material. Temperatures and dipping duration will affect the amount of plastic applied on the part being dipped.

Plastic industrial coatings may be applied up to .250" or more at controllable and uniform thicknesses.

Plastic industrial coatings are use in commercial, aerospace and other industries.
