Gouging rods are used for cutting, welding,
removing metal defects, inspection of welds and removing
excessive welds. Gouging rods may be cylindrical, flat, or a
combination of shapes and sizes. Precision gouging rods are available
for removing mold pits, or producing a mold pit hole.
Gouging rods are available as jointed or non-jointed.
Gouging rods are available copper coated or plain. Other
propriety designs are available as well.
Graphite gouging rods are available in cylindrical
sizes ranging from 1/8" to 1" diameter or more
