this is just a simple math question, i suppose, but i'm having a brain freeze. i am building a wheel of fortune from a bicycle wheel. i want to divide the wheel up in to equal pies but the spokes do not seem to be equally spaced. so, i am just going to use some poster board over the wheel spokes, cut a cirle from the poster board and divide that up in to pies. for some reason i am having trouble figuring out how to divide the wheel up in to equal pies so i can draw the lines properly. i don't want to have to buy some large compass or anything like that. any ideas?

i suppose the number of slices doesn't really matter. i'm just trying to figure out an easy way to mark them off and make sure they are even.

Giggle....

OK guys,....

Take a tape measure and wrap it around the wheel. Get as accurate of a measurement as you can muster.

Divide that measurement by the number of "slices" you want.

Now take a marker and mark off at every "that answer" distance.

.. hey now that was not so hard, huh?

See....I would've taken a pizza and layed it on the wheel and drawn lines in between the slices, granted you only get 8 lines but you get the best damn tasteing wheel of fortune.

No idiots here bud...someone is always here to help....Randy's the guy.

Send us back a picture when you get a chance.
