I have a 2 X 2 steel loading rack that management is wanting a load weight limit on. Can anyone lead me in the right direction on how to calculate it?

i believe that it is 2 X 2 X 3/16 a36 tubing. its a complex design, definitely not your standard rack, but i believe the weight factor will be in the cantilever. it has (4) 18" cantilevered 2 X 2 tubes holding the product.

You will need details on the materials used within the construction, section size and shapes, and how the shelves will likely be loaded. Material will be the tricky one. You should consider that the shelves may have been purchased. If they are purchased then you should contact the manufacturer for capacity data.
