Good Morning sir, I would like to know how do i calculate the skid base for the generator set( CAT 3516B & KATO Altarnator).The engine RPM is 1800 rpm,1825 ekw. The weight of engine is 8029 kg,altarnator weight is 12700 kg. I hope to hear from you soon. Best regred, pawtar

Skid Base? what specifications do you have? Does the specifications indicate waht you are trying to determine? Such as friction for sliding, weight distribution, mounting and shipping..

Have you checked with CAT? I think you will find that they have already done this work. The worst suggestion of your lifetime may be the catalyst to the grandest idea of the century, never let suggestions go unsaid nor fail to listen to them.

MY company is dealer of CAT for Indonesia.Beacuse i need to submit calculation to customer.So i need the formula for that.

This means you have a better contact to CAT. The question still remains,... have you contacted CAT about this need? CAT has people that have, no doubt, already worked on this issue. I can't imagine them not having feed back about what configurations worked well and those that did not. What better resource could there be? CAT is very serious about support, you need to allow them to assist you, this kind of support helps their world wide sales.
