I would like to get some information on push button locks. Almost like a snowboard clip-in or ski binding or a seat belt. Maybe even the lock found on a socket wrench for holding socket in place. I would like to make something that can have the locking mechanism and push release buttons as a female unit- and have the item being locked in place have say small metal pieces or prongs as the males to insert and lock the piece in place. It would have to be able to hold some force. Also with little to zero play when the part is locked in place. Does anyone have any info on locking systems, drawings, prints, or input on these or any other quick release style locks? I am a real hard time finding info on the insides of these locks most of us probobly use every other day. Any help would be awesome. Thanks, Ken

It was Wimpy not Whimpy. But the really important thing is this: did he say Tuesday or Thursday? I remember something like "I will gladly pay you on Thursday..." but I could easily have the wrong day, and I don't have any of the comics to verify it. This is a very important engineering matter!
