Hi there. I am currently busy converting some of our gravity fed roller conveyors. I am fitting a drive pully and a flat belt to run on top of the rollers. Is anyone able to help out with the design considerations? Power, initial tention, the list goes on... Thank you, Etienne |

Did you realize that there are rollers for conveyors out there that are powered? The idea is you space a few down the line and motors are inside the rollers. The neat thing is you can turn on and off indenpendant rollers to control product flow. They seem mildly expensive until you compare the advantages and costs of doing what you are thinking about doing... Just offered as an idea. The worst suggestion of your lifetime may be the catalyst to the grandest idea of the century, never let suggestions go unsaid nor fail to listen to them. |
