Hi I am an engineering student carrying out a gear train design project for my Internship.
I am designing a miniature gear train for a robotics application.
The company I am working for wants to buy some gear design books and has asked me to recommend some, I am currently already using "Mechanical Engineering Design" by Shigley and "Handbook of Practical Gear Design" by Dudley.

I am looking for books that cover spur and helical gear design, multiple gear (i.e. gear train) design and shaft&bearing design.

Does anyone have any recommendations?
Tom

Search the web for "Handbook of Practical Gear Design".
