I'm not an engineer, but I'm working on a membrane switch project that will have embedded leds. I'm hoping you could help me understand the spec info. What does the following info mean?
Vf typical (V): 2.0, If (mA) Max: 30, Iv typical mcd@ mA: 6 @ 10 Thanks for your help,

VF = Voltage Forward at rated amps. LED's are diode and operating voltage varies with current. Iv is Luminous Intensity, this how bright the LED will be. 6 mcd's at 10 mA (milliamps)
