I am looking for an electrical servo brake for the motor. Once the power is off, it will lock the motor output shaft at its position. Once the power is on, the brake will be energized and released to transmit the torque over the shaft. Also, the brake will have some kind of manual release once its power is off, so that customers are able to do a manual rotation adjustment over the shaft without re-enegizing the brake.

Does something like this exist in the market? Thanks in advance.

This is a common motor/brake combination. Many have a lever or pin to disengage the brake and lock it out for maintanence. Check your major electrical component catalog house.

The worst suggestion of your lifetime may be the catalyst to the grandest idea of the century, never let suggestions go unsaid nor fail to listen to them.
