Has anyone used Loctite 242 on Taptite thread rolling screws and into an aluminum block? I'm looking for advantages of using a threadlocker adhesive on a threadforming screw if there's any. |

The design of a Taptite screw does not require the use of of loctite....might be overkill and add unnecessary labor. |

According to the Loctite website: Loctite® 242® Threadlocker is a general purpose, removable threadlocker for fasteners between 1/4" and 3/4" (6 to 20 mm) diameters. Controlled lubricity for accurate clamp loads. Parts can be separated using hand tools.
