flat spring steel

Anyone know the retaining tension a .01" thick x .39" long x .076" wide ss spring steel would have when deflected .03"?

Looks to me like a simple beam calculation, with fixed supports on each end and point load in the middle. You already have the cross-section geometry (for moment of inertia). All you need is the modulus of elasticity for the material. Then I think you could calculate the load using one of the beam calculators on this site.

Modulus of elasticity is the same for all steels including spring steel, so you should be able to look it up.

thats what I figured on using a beam calculator, just havent been able to locate the material properties
