I'm trying to find the type of thread used on the valve for car tyres?

it is called schraeder valve the Tire and Rim association have info about it

According to the Tire and Rim Association (and they should know) the standard Schrader valve has the following thread

7.7 mm OD

32 tpi, or 0.794 mm pitch

Minor diameter is 6.9mm

Thread designation is .305-32 or 7.7-32

Nice mix of inches and millimetres!

Please next time put a more specific post title.

maybe it could be

"tire valve threads"

I had look for it  by 2002

What about , the next post be more specific??

Just because I'm curious on threads I open it

This thread are called shreader thread profiles.

It is the most aged thread profile still used in the whole industrie, it is used all around the world.

Do agoogle for

"schreader valves"
