each coil turn will be Length = ( diam^2 * pi ^2 + pitch ^2)^0.5 Modified by Administrator at Mon, Jan 02, 2006, 10:27:32

I have a question to ask you regarding your formula. What would be the formula to calculate coil/spring winding length with a constant pitch if the wire is a flat ribbon? Much appreciated.
