Controlled Temperature Units (CTUs)= Incubators, Freezers, and refrigerators.

I'm not an Engineer....

I would like to understand the issues associated with temperature uniformity mapping of CTUs. In particular, when performing this mapping against what would be considered "worst case scenario"... in terms of convection and/or conduction is an empty chamber considered the worst case in trying to maintain temperature uniformity across the chamber?

Help please...Much thanks.
