Surface finish callout ????? WHAT??

I'm reviewing a print from an asian supplier and they have a surface finish of (Polish, Ra = 0.1-0.25um, ta = 60-85%) What is the (ta) referring to?

What kind of material is it? Is there a surface finish created by sputtering gold or other material?
