Hello, I'm looking for some information on metric hardware. I am making a quick reference chart for metric hardware. I can find some of the info I need but not all. Here's what I'm looking for: M2 thru M24, Clearance Hole, CBORE dia, CBORE Depth, CBORE Depth with Lock Washer, 90 Degree CSINK Dia (so that head of screw will not protrude above surface), Tap Drill size and #, Minimum Thread Engagement (for Alum ((1.5 x dia)) & Steel ((1.0 x dia)), Drilling Depth for Tapping a Blind Bore (Preferred and Min.) Like a said, I can find some of this info but not all. I can't find any info on M5 or M18 yet we have hardware for these sizes in our company....strange. The machinist handbook and JIS handbook do not cover the range I am looking for. I'm hoping someone here has a chart in their company that they would'nt mind sharing. Thx in advance....ion |
