v = Discharge velocity (m/s),
V = Volume of reaction (m3/sec),
A = Area of discharge opening (m2),
H = Depth (m),
g = Acceleration due to gravity (9.81 m/s) ,
ψ = Coeffcient of friction (for water ψ = 0.97)
ε = Coeffcient of contraction (ε = 0.62 for sharp edged openings and ε = 0.97 for smooth rounded openings)
