Trying to learn more about heat trace design. On freeze protection pipes, how is RTD placement generally dictated? Any help is appreciated, thanks. |

One would look at the system and estimate the location where a freeze is most likely to occur first. If this location is not obvious then place the RTD at a location close to the controlling or sensing electronics. |
