Datum representation
Hello,
I am now on this forum, so i hope that i'll be clear enough.
I have the following situation (an example is attached):
I have a simple plate with 4 holes.
• Datum A should be the 4 hatched surfaces (taken as one)
• Datum B should be formed from the 4 holes (taken together, as a pattern). So they form a TED Pattern, so they can rotate together as a set.
My question is: The drawing is correct? (If we respect ISO standard).
If yes, or no, can you please, tell me in which standard i can find the explanation for this type of notation?
Thank you in advance!

Yes, the datum specification is legitimate. I don't think ISO-1101 not ASME-Y14.5 will have an example with an explanation that is identical.
