Conveyor belt Motor Power Calculation

Hello Designer,

I need to know if my calculation is correct or not for my belt conveyor used to transport tobacco product.

Belt length = 34m
Belt width = 1000 mm
load due to belt =1.8kg/m2
idler spacing = 0.51 m
load due to convoyed material is 15 Kg/m ...

i used this formula:

f = Coefficient of friction
L = Conveyor length in meters. Conveyor length is approximately half of the total belt length. =34 m
g = Acceleration due to gravity = 9.81 m/sec[SUP]2[/SUP]
mi = Load due to the idlers in [B]Kg/m[/B]. = 117.6
mb = Load due to belt in [B]Kg/m. =1.8 kg/m[/B]
mm = Load due to the conveyed materials in [B]Kg/m. = 15 kg/m[/B]
δ = Inclination angle of the conveyor in [B]Degree. zero[/B]
H = vertical height of the conveyor in [B]meters. 1.2 m[/B]

i found Tb= 3934.10 N
and power will be P=5.9 kw if speed 1.5 m/s this right ?!
