I am looking for a book that discusses soil analysis or something like that. I have searched books.google.com but I wasn’t able to find one. It did provide me some useful information but what I need is an e-book. I’m actually preparing for an exam next month so please, reply with the link of the book. Thanks!

If that doesn't get you going, then just do a search for geotechnical engineering/foundation engineering and you'll find loads.
As your wife (from your other thread) is a geotechnical engineer; can't you just read her books?
Is it just cynical old me, or is that a somewhat bizarre request when coupled with the thread the Cake refers to?
