Help with nomenclature?

I have been picking my brain, trying to figure out what to type into my favorite search engine so as to find what I am looking for.

I am looking for stainless steel rings, approximately 10mm in diameter, 14 - 16 gage material for the purpose of passing through a 3/8" wide strip of fabric consisting of fine strands of nylon. I have tried split rings and the material snags on the edge of the split in the ring. I need a contiuous ring with no seams. Any suggestions as to what I should search for?
