Contact a lubricant manufacturer's representative and ask the same question. They would be best suited to provide you with a product that would be compatible with the environment you have described.

It really depends what you're trying to achieve. Is the crane malfunctioning, not working smoothly? Will the rope be immersed in water and mud at time or always?
