Hi everyone, I am new to this forum and looking for help with regards for the calculation on flat end cap thickness design that can resist water pressure of Ø800 mm OD dia polyethylene PE100 material plastic pipe with pressure rating of 12 bar and wall thickness of pipe 59 mm. can anyone could help me?
Why a flat end plate? ASME Pressure vessel code provides guidance to design with spherical shapes.
