Hi, I'm completely lost how to tackle a problem. Any suggestions would help.
I have a 1/2 kilo object going up and down about one inch, approx. once a second. I want to harvest this energy by coupling its motion to turn a small generator, or some sort of pump etc.
Is there any cheap and simple way (or existing device) to drive a small generator or pump, from the linear motion of the 1/2 kilo object's motion?
