The gift giving season is upon us...

... who wants to get me this great holiday gift?

(I'll even let you take it for a spin!)

Kelly, tell me that thing wouldn't be an absolute blast to take out on a closed course. I would have a grin on my face for weeks!

Ron, it may be fun, but it may also have been better if they had not shown the close up pics of the welds. Oil-filter and battery pics to name two. No front brakes, single disk rear, solid rear axle, no differential. Definitely a "go" kart.

    Yep on those welds... Ugh...

They should've found a buddy that knew how to weld to help them out. Those big old bubbly goober welds are scary...

Coupled with the stated "100-mph," downright frightening. Caveat Emptor takes on a whole new meaning.

Just checked again, also the steering support that has been "adjusted" and welded. One of the last pics (gauge with yellow lettering) before the battery cart.

Currently that Dell is still with windows 7 and nt sure if it has Touch-screen (too lazy to check). Their windows 8 convertible (XPS 12 convertible Ultrabook) is getting mixed reviews and the screen "bow" thing looks fragile. Most things coming out now Will have HDMI, but the thing to look for is the VGA port as it will be a while before overhead projectors catch up with HDMI.

I am holding out until I see the MSoft win8 Surface that will run legacy windows software. Seems like the ideal machine. If the price compares well to the ASUS transformer, I will be getting a belated gift. Sadly, no current info on when it will be available.
