    composite profile tolerance

Hello, I'd like to ask you something about interpretation of composite profile tolerance.

Let's say I've got profile toleranced like below:

    1.jpg

Am I correct thinking that tolerance of lower part of feature control frame refines the upper one, and repeated datums refines orientation?
Does it mean that tighter tolerance can move up and down, left and right ( has to be perpendicular to datum A and parallel to datums B and C ) like that

but can not twist like below ?

Yes, that is all correct. (However, this interpretation is based on the ASME standard. I don't know if the ISO system has worked out this composite profile notion with such detail.)
