    Post Strength of Steel

Is it better to keep a steel structure (in terms of strength and deformation) at a temperature of 300°C or to cycle the temperature between 200°C and 300°C per hour over its life time?

In general, the higher the temperature the lower the ultimate and yield strength of most steel materials.
