Looking for books about: building and designing of trailers

    Hi, guys and girls.

    Great forum.

    I am civil engineering student.

I wish to build trailers, uses: construction supplies, boats, motorcycles, cars, etc.

I am looking books about it.

Engineering level books, and also, technical books (Construction details, welding, Blueprints).

    Recomendations?

    Thank you

    Hello,

I recall seeing such a book at Northen Tool many years ago. It actually had the information you are looking for and included shear moment diagrams for various trailer configurations. I'm not sure if they still offer it but I would check Amazon and some other sources.

    Thank you.

Browsing amazon, I only find a book called ''trailers: how to design and build''. author: Smith

User reviews suggest that: volume 1 is useless, volume 2 has shear moments diagrams (but, for liability issues, structural guidelines are not made by the author), volume 3, for some reason, has not been released (?).

I will try to secure a used copy, of volume 2, asap.

I am surprised of not finding any more literature about it.

Obviously, more info will be highly appreciated.
