    Pressure relief valve, oxygen, capacity calculation

    I calculated a capacity for an oxygen pressure relief valve, using NB-18 formula:
    W=C x K x A x P x √M/T

    As long the area is in sq in, and the pressure is in psi, the capacity will be in what? SCFM? Really?

    Same question for air:
    W=18.331 x A x P x K

    The result is in SCFM as long A is in sq in and P is in psi?

    Yes, that is correct as long as the inlet pressure is stated in psia and the pressure is above that required for sonic (ie critical) flow.

    Thank you, JAlberts. Yes, the inlet pressure is in psia. I understood the capacity units in this case is in SCFM. Correct?
