Hello all,

I am trying to create an analytical model for the prediction of the mechanical behaviour of reinforced structures. For that, I used an existing equation. I also derived a new equation by math relationships. I have built a FEM model and compared the results. The results of both the existing equation and the new equation in relation to the FEM model are near 30%, which means that if I have a deflection of 1e-5 in the numerical model, I would have 1,3e-5 in the analytical method. I am trying to publish my results on a journal. Do you think that the correlation is good? Is the correlation very important, or if I just prove there is some discrepancy, the work can have quality?

thanks,
Hugo
