    Cutting Biologic Tubes in Cleanroom

We need to cut biologic, tubular medical devices into 1cm to 1.5cm sections. The tubes are thin-walled and range in inner diameter from 1.5mm to 7mm. The material is tough and resistant to cutting with a scalpel, but flexible enough that it can easily by creased if cut with scissors. Any experience or suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

    Try a waterjet.

Thanks for the reply. The issue would be rehydrating the dried material.

Look into it a little further. You will learn that waterjets are used to cut multiple layers of cloth and leave no evidence of moisture behind. It would be worth some trials.
