    how to convert drawing

    Dear All Engineers, currently I have a some problem to converting .wrp file to open at solid work or catia. Can you suggest me how to convert this file because I need to do some reverse engineering to recover my cur lick mistake. I only have Solid Work or Catia. Thanks in advance!!

    .wrp file is from geomagic scanner software

    I would open the file in the geomagic software and see what options are available to "save as" or export.


    On the Geomagic software home page I quote..


    "Geomagic Studio also streamlines the design process by enabling seamless transfer of parametric models to a number of major CAD packages: CATIA®, Autodesk® Inventor®, CREO® Elements/Pro™(Pro/ENGINEER™) and SolidWorks®."

    yes..i already trying to open it using CATIA or solid works but failed..catia software cannot open it..or maybe must save in other file??or other catia version?

    Have you contacted the Geomagic software technical support?

    muzaffaralkaff, Do you have the Geomagic software? Or do you just have the file? As Kelly said, if you can open it inside the Geomagic software you can save it as a different format from there.
