MMC and RFS in same feature control frame

The question I have is for a drawing that is 20 years old in the feature control frames it is called out for RFS and MMC on different datum's. So the question is, is this allowed.

    thanks

Just to be clear, this would allow MMC to one datum and only RFS to another? I know this seems simple but there has been much debate on this with a supplier I have.

    Thanks again

Absolutely, yes. There are explicit examples within the ASME, ANSI and ISO dimensioning and tolerancing standards as well as all of my GD&T reference and training books.

    Geometric Boundaries II ASME Y14.5-2009

    Geometric Boundaries II ASME Y14.5-1994

    Geometrical Boundaries, ISO 1101

Be aware that your question is very general in nature... It is very possible to have datums specified at RFS and MMC within the same FCF that are functionally incorrect.
