Question 1 Tonn force pushing a tooth rod, connected to a axel with a flywheel, Size ?

    Hello

I am doing some design for a wave power plant.

To start out with an example:

Looking at a 1 x 1 m plate, connected to a rod, getting pushed inn by the wave
The force is app 1000 kg/m2, sinus for 5 secons, repeating every 10 seconds.
with a spring sending the rod back out.

This rod which is pushed in, has a toth bar , connecting to a vertical gear, mounted on an axel.
On top of the axel there is a flywheel.m This gear must be a free wheel one way, fixed the other.

What is the approx size of this gear ?
The vertical rod will have a flywheel, how do I estimate the "best size for this "
Then in the end there is a generator, connected directly or via a belt.

Just a crazy Norwegian with a crazy idea !
