Robotic car

Hello,

Me and someone else have to make a robot
The robot need to do the next thing :
- It needs to follow a line with an obstacle in the middle
- It has to do this parcour forward and backwards

It has to move by a remote control
I was going to use an existing car and disassemble it

But still i would like to know i there are any sites where they explain how to make a robot
That is not to hard to make one and that's not to expensive

Any sites that could help me with this project are welcome

I would recommend looking at SparFun dot com. They have tutorials on various things, and you can look at RedBot for purchase or as an example.

I would also check out robotshop dot and pololu dot com for lots of great projects!
