    Platform Design_Help

    Hello! I am designing a platform (with lifting lug at 4 ends) which needs to withstand a load of 25T. I am planning to use a PFC section for me to lessen the welding processes compared to if I will use plates. Can anyone here please help me on how to check if the size of section I am using is enough.     Please do not take this the wrong way. A platform for lifting 25T should not be designed by someone who needs help in that area. That is a recipe for failure. You need to get the direct assistance of a paid professional (licensed) engineer.
