    The End to Frayed Wires

Hi, my names Lukas and I am an engineering student working on my senior project. I am trying to design a component that will eliminate frayed wires on phone chargers. The idea is to connect it to the part of the wire that will fray due to harsh angles, and prevent it. I attached an image of my prototype for you guys to see. Maybe I can get some feedback from you. Enjoy!

Lukas109 your design appears to be very well thought out. You may need to take into consideration how the device will be attached to the wire itself. If you were planing on crimping it to the wire you may cause more damage than what you started out with. Just a thought. Good Luck.

Interesting, one could simply "Tin" the wire ends to prevent fraying..
