    Cup shaped drive

    Hi Folks.

I have a problem getting the teeth right on this driven gear. Here is the part I need to redesign and the Part i'm working on in the photos. I'm not sure how to communicate the problem I'm having but drafting the top face of the tooth is not giving me what I want and I don't really know of a way to get that on the curved surface. That top face should blend into the plane on the sphere in blue and the toe of the tooth should leave a radial transition line. Is there another approach to this?

The top surface of your clutch piece is a helix. Try your helical tools.
