Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.
Dear Kelly, thanks I had gone all the links but cant find the torque applicable on thread engagement of 0.35" & 0.47"
I attach an image the way we use the material
Contact your strut nut supplier. I know Unistrut lists recommended torque values on their website. I'm sure other manufacturers do the same.
Unistrut or world known companies only publish the torque value for the Bolts
We have checked the same with online assembly calculators http://www.engineersedge.com/calcula...orque_calc.htm
Its less in proportionate to the thickness but our buyer doesn't agree so need help with your comments

In arguments between competing "theories" I have found the only way to resolve them is with actual real world tests.
Straight from the Unistrut website:
Enjoy your day.

Get a big transducerized nutrunner and check
Google is your friend.
Back in the day we had books with a pencil and paper accompanied with a headache and itchy scalps.
